Flux Animation Lands Back-to-Back Emmy Nods with Disney’s ‘How Not To Draw’
Flux has received its second consecutive Emmy nomination, with Disney’s How Not To Draw recognised in the Outstanding Short Form Animated Program category at the 2026 Children’s & Family Emmys. The awards will be held in New York in March 2026.
The nomination comes off the back of several other projects that have been celebrated on the global stage, wrapping a bow on what has been a very exciting 2025.
Says Laban Dickinson, Creative Director, Flux: “The Emmy nomination is a great validation to our team here at Flux, focusing on character and craft over the last 30 years has been at our core, and the team is immensely proud of this recognition. We look forward to seeing what 2026 and beyond brings.”
Says Josh Forsman, Executive Producer, Flux: “2025 has been one of the biggest years for Flux to date. It’s an amazing honour to work with some of the biggest brands in the world and showcase New Zealand talents to millions of viewers. We have a team that has excelled this year and with a lot on the horizon for 2026 we will be sharpening our pencils over the Christmas break, ready to hit the ground running.”
